Why does Outlook 2007 stop processing email?

First, i use Outlook 2007 for Task only. Then i want to use it for my email and tried to access. I finished to fill my email address details and started to process. It processed until my 1029 messages, but not finishing for all my messages of 8,125. And now even i can send the message, i cannot receive through this Outlook. I always try Send/Receive progress, but it changes nothing. So, how can i fix that? - To access all my messages - To receive the recent messages Thank you!
