I need recommendations on buying a gpu

I mainly play Minecraft, Overwatch, and Guild wars 2. I'm pretty sure it is compatible with Shadowplay as well. It's a low profile gpu but I don't know if my pc needs a low profile gpu so i'm wondering if it will work on a pc that doesn't need a low profile gpu.
