Use ITunes visualizer with Spotify

I've spent some time looking for a good visualizer for Spotify, (mac-Yosemite) only to discover there is none. After checking out the visualizer that comes with iTunes, I love it, but it, of course, doesn't work with Spotify. I'm wondering if there's any way to make iTunes think that the music from Spotify is actually coming from iTunes so the visualizer works, or perhaps just reprogram the visualizer to pick up all of the computer's inteal sound. Is this possible? Are there any alteitives other than Discobrick and other lame applications that don't actually work?
