I'd like a better way to move my sent emails from the default folder to the respective subject folders in my archive without having to do it manually.
Currently all of my replys are in a "sent" folder which is in my archive. This way, by using the conversation view, I can see these replys when viewing the original emails in the respective subject folders.
Now I want to move a complete subject folder to a separate archive. If I do this, the link to the replys will be lost. I'd need to first find and move or copy all of these replies into that subject folder. However, it woudl not be feasible due to the number of them.
I did find a way to "bulk" move the replies into the subject folder by selecting them from the conversation view. That looks like this:
Subject header 1st email my reply (greyed out) 2nd email my reply (greyed out) etc.
I found that as long as I don't also select the header, I can shift-select ALL emails, then right click -> move to the same folder. This moves of course only the reply mails - perfect!
The problem is that the conversation must be expanded for this, and the header cannot be selected. I also can't simply sort by "to", because then only the emails from myself which are physically in the folder are shown. The ones which are not physically in the folder are only shown in the conversation view.
Thefere, and finally, my QUESTION:
Is there a way to select, for an entire folder, only the reply emails? Or in other words, only the greyed out emails - which are linked through subject but not phyiscally in the folder?
Thanks in advance
