Terrible ideas involving chroot and running an os

If I were to make a chroot (or container using something like this) environment and run my os normally in that, what would be wrong about doing this?

Currently, I can see a few problems:

Cannot control os functions easily (reboot, sleep, etc)
Some things will detect chroot and not run(systemd will refuse starting services)
Potential security risks from running everything inside a chroot
Are there any other obvious problems with doing this?
