CentOS7 mount: special device /dev/sdb1 does not exist , but i can see it with fdisk

I had centos7 running on a machine. Attached to it via usb3 I had a disk caddy holding a 4TB WD green HD. This worked perfect for me. And it even worked in the previous centos7 machine.

I got a new computer installed centos 7 on it. Plugged in the disk.
do an fdisk -l and get:

Disk /dev/sdb: 1801.8 GB, 1801763774464 bytes, 3519069872 sectors
Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disk label type: dos
Disk identifier: 0x00000000

   Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sdb1               1  4294967295  2147483647+  ee  GPT

But when i go to mount it, i get:

mount: special device /dev/sdb1 does not exist

Mount from fstab:

/dev/sdb1 /mnt/mediastorage ext4 defaults,noauto 0 2

Any suggestions on how to go about getting this to work?

Thanks
