MS Word Plugins to "Send File"

I am trying to find a way for word 2013 and up to have the ability to "Share" a file to get it onto a server. I am flexible with any method of sending. If there is a way to send it into an ftp server, or to send it into a http rest method, or anything - kindof like how you can share it with a Blog or IM, but I want something more generic so my web system can pick up the result and do something with it

I could in theory write a plugin in VSTO, but I would rather not if something already exists
