Torque/Maui: How do I prevent duplicate job ids after a server crash?

I have a pbs_server and maui running on my server, and every now and then the server loses power or crashes.

When the server restarts, it will reuse some of the job ids that have already executed.

Is there a way for me to prevent this from happening?

The problem is, if two jobs have the same id, when I try to qdel, it will delete the wrong job.
