I have a HP envy dv6t-7200 notebook with a Nvidia Geforce 630M(2G). This card has 1 HDMI and 1 VGA port. I'm planning to buy 2 monitors. I have to possible options to connect these monitors:
1 - Buy a miracast adapter (ie. MS miracast adapter) and 2 monitors with displayport and HDMI ports and connect one of them using a HDMI cable and the other one using the miracast adapter (I'm planning to buy the monitors with DisplayPorts to have the daisy chain feature available when I upgrade my laptop);
2 - Buy one with miracast built-in (ie. Dell U2417HWi) and the other one with DP and HDMI ports and perform the same connection I explained above. (Miracast and HDMI cable). The problem is that this monitor (Dell U2417HWi) doesn't have DisplayPorts built-in.
So, my questions are:
1 - Would these solutions work? (Miracast and HDMI cable); 2 - What would be the best choice in your opinion?
Thanks in advance for your help.
P.D.: I'm using my laptop for casual gaming, entertainment and to dive in the CS realm (newbie in Python, JS, C#; Algorithms; Data structures; etc...).
