In MS Word 2016, how to universalise changes to Styles to all Word documents?

Problem: Any change to Styles (e.g. Create, Modify, Remove) occurs only in the one document wherein I changed the Styles. But I need any change in any 1 document, to be effected and realised consistently and universally in ALL Word documents.

As my screenshot confirms below, I selected 'New documents based on this template'.
Did I neglect anything below?
