TsMuxer HDMV compatibility option, what is it?

So.. What does TsMuxer add to the original ripped m2ts stream to make it "Hdmv ts compatible" can anyone share this info. I caot find it anywhere.

I ripped a bluray disc. Demuxed only the videostream, with and without the option that is in tab '2' upper right coer. The filesize comes out the same in bytes. But hash checking reveals the files ARE different. So whats the difference then?
