I have a Ubuntu PC connected to a touch screen that is rotated 90 degrees.
When I start the PC for the first time, the touch functionality is inverted so i run the command xinput which gives me the following output:
Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)]
⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Touch Follow Your Imagination! TTMxxxx_U6_H618V150818_8888 id=10 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Logitech K270 id=11 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Logitech M185 id=12 [slave pointer (2)]
⎣ Virtual core keyboard id=3 [master keyboard (2)]
↳ Virtual core XTEST keyboard id=5 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Power Button id=6 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Video Bus id=7 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Power Button id=8 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Sleep Button id=9 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ HD Pro Webcam C920 id=13 [slave keyboard (3)]
Afterwards I edit the ~/.profile and append with the following string:
xinput set-prop 'Touch Follow Your Imagination! TTMxxxx_U6_H618V150818_8888' 'Coordinate Transformation Matrix' 0 -1 1 1 0 0 0 0 1
This makes everything work as expected after a restart. My problem is; sometimes, but not always, I get the following error after a restart:
Startup error
Can anyone tell me why I experience this error? Has it something to do with the driver or can i be a hardware failure?
Please let me know if you need additional information. Thank you.
