Windows Explorer default action when typing

When I open Windows Eplorer and I start typing in it (without actually writing in a field), it normally scrolls in the list of files and folders that are being shown and selects the element that matches the first characters that I typed. For example: if I type "fil" in the window shown in the picture below, the folder "files" will be automatically selected. On my Windows 7 machine, however, if I start typing in windows explorer, by default I type in the search bar and it searches in the files and subfolders.

How can I change this behavior of Windows Explorer?
