How to keep the shape and page settings intact after conversion to 2010 Visio?

I have already created process flows in the Visio 2013 format but my client prefers them to be in 2010 format. I thought "save as 2010(.vsd)" would easily convert the Visio (.vsdx) into 2010 file (.vsd), but the converted 2010 file looses all the page settings and automatically resizes and expands - breaking all the margins and connecting the shapes haphazardly. I tried playing around with few settings but none worked. I could fix this manually by copying and pasting but it would be great if this could be achieved automatically. I would appreciate if you could take some time to provide me with potential solutions. Thanks!
