Can CDBuerXP 'create' bootable ISO'S (or is there any other way)?

I trying to make an XP Virtual machine for use in pentesting. I have an old XP PC with pre-installed XP on it (not a disk unfortunately). So, I need a way to create a bootable ISO from my XP OS. Also, my 'i386' file is NOT in my C drive but instead in another folder in my c drive along with my an AMD file(?). Looking at tutorials it seems I can't go the usual way and even if I could i can't find a windows boot sector to use. I saw CDbuerXP and wondered if you can just copy an OS to an ISO, which it looked like you could in their tutorials, but it looks like it might just be the data. SO i'm a bit stuck of what to do. Any spare ISO's with registration keys anyone had would be brilliant (SP1 or before, unpatched, although I'm not expecting anyone to have). Or, does anyone know if CDBuerXP can do what I want. If not, anyone know of anyway I can do it?

(Sorry for the weird question, I basically have no idea where to go from here but don't just want links to guides i've already read).
