On yahoo mail on google chrome, the symbols of portuguese language (such as "´" or "~") appear correctly on the subject of the email and on basically everything in the website except for the sender's name. A strange symbol substitutes it, maybe a chinese one?
Encoding of google chrome itself is set to UTF-8, so is yahoo mail. Every other website has no issue.
I realise this is an old version of google chrome yet this is my grandmother's computer who is not particularly open to change.
I would be very happy if someone were to find a solution to this issue.
Highlighted the fact that the symbol "~" appears normally on the subject of the email but NOT on the sender's name
