I have a windows 7 computer with a fully functional (realtek) soundcard but no speakers coected, and what I want to do is forward any sounds from it to another (linux) computer. Now I could reroute sound the hardware route (Do some jedi trickery like coecting a cable from it's line-out to a line-in) but I want to go the software route.
So what I seem to need is a virtual/fake/loopback playback device on Windows that can receive sound to be forwarded through a daemon such as Icecast, JACK or Pulseaudio or something else.
Can I do this with JACK? Or will I need to use another software for it?
