How can I make "docker logs" display accented and ANSI characters in LXTerminal?

How can I make docker logs display accented and ANSI characters in LXTerminal?

For example, how can I display the question marks (?) in the following text as their corresponding accented characters? How can I correctly display the ANSI strings such as ESC[36mfix_1 which should be in colour?

Note that when not using docker logs, LXTerminal otherwise correctly displays special characters. For example, the following displays the Euro sign (€):
