How to install OS using Rescue Mode?

What we have:

A server with a Linux distribution on it. No physical access to that server. The server can be accessed via Serial Terminal or via network using SSH, for example.

I can also boot that server into rescue mode using an OS on network and then coect to that server. As you may know, in this mode you can do things like system repair, backups and all the stuff.

The question is:

Is that possible to reinstall the whole OS on that server?
