Fixing a Cut Wire

Whilst replacing my PSU I had to cut a few cable ties and accidentaly cut into the cable that coects the power button to the motherboard. Is it possible to solder iron the cables and it work? Or do I need to replace that cable? If so, what is it called so I can order one?
