Building a Future Proof VR Ready PC?

I am currently in the process of putting together a parts list for a PC rig I would like to be VR ready and future proof. I wanted to see if I might could share the list I have and see if anyone has any recommendations on anything that might could be improved or not. The only thing I was thinking of changing is switching the 908TI GPU with the new GTX 1080 but haven't decided yet.
