Windows freezing after game crash

I've been having a pretty aoying issue with my laptop and I can't really find a way to fix it. Here is what happened: After closing a game with alt+F4, I got a huge error message on my screen, but at the moment I was in hurry so I didn't even bother reading it. Upon tuing my computer back on again, it took a loooong time to start and actually run something, which was really weird because it usually starts up quickly. And then it got worse: nothing was responding except the mouse, and right after I got a message saying that "Windows had stopped working". After clicking on the "Close process" option, everything was fine again for a few minutes, but the process repeated itself again every time I tried to open another application(like Steam, Word, etc. Even a simple folder took a long time to open and made the system freeze again). I tried verifying both my Hard Drives for errors using the "right click->Properties->Tools->Verify for errors" but it said everything was fine. Tried ruing "sfc/scaow" on cmd, it said that there were corrupt files that couldn't be restored and gave me a log file("C:WindowsLogsCBSCBS.log"), which when I tried to open said "Access denied". Also did an anti-virus scan but nothing showed up. Anyone knows what else I can do to fix this? If you need any additional info about the issue just ask me. (Sorry for bad english)
