How can find pid for special softwares?

I run "Videos" software from the Dash in Ubuntu... after some minutes the software will freezing.
I searching for PID of the software for killing, But i cant find any result with these commands:

pgrep Videos
ps -eo cmd,pid,stime

I dont know stime of process.

I have to restart my computer and after login i see the software executed by totem command.
My question is:
How can i find PID for special softwares, that name of software is different with executable file?
