I'm currently running Windows 10 on my machine. For reasons that are not particularly important at the moment, I require Windows 7 installed. I have tried running it in VMware Workstation 12 Player, and it performs awfully. (My computer is also not very powerful.) Because of that, I have downloaded a Windows 7 iso from Microsoft, mounted it in Windows and executed Setup.exe. I went through the installation, chose a 50GB partition I made earlier and let it do its thing.
When Windows 10 restarted, it took me to the Windows 7 boot thingy, and started Windows Setup in the list. Then it showed the pretty Windows 7 boot animation... and that's it. It's been like that for the past ~30 minutes. There is no drive activity, and the logo has just been pulsating like that. What am I doing wrong?
