(I suppose this also applied to Windows 8, 8.1 & 10 but didn't test on those systems.)
Users can add toolbars on Taskbar through right click on Taskbar > Toolbars > New toolbars, just like the old Quick Launch toolbar. When I dragged the toolbar to left side next to Start Button, and adjusted its width to only show a portion of its icons, there will be a ">>" button to hide the rest of icons. You can click it to show them in a menu style (Fig. I).

In multiple monitor setup, especially if I extended my desktop to the left side, if the width of toolbar is small, Windows will display the menu of extra icons on the left screen (Fig. II). I don't always tu on my left screen, so sometime I can't access the extra icons if left screen is off. Is there a way to make it display on the main screen?
