I want to set the FN key on my laptop to toggle

What I want to do, is to set the FN key as a toggle (same as caps lock). I was thinking this should be possible through regedit, but I do not have enough knowledge of it to fix this. (Could also be inverted, so that when I hold it down I can use the F1-F12 keys).

I have been on Linux for quite some time now, and I also have quite a lot of experience with Windows systems.

Please reply, even though you're not exactly sure if what you are suggesting is correct. I want as many replies as possible!
