If Windows 10 (Upgraded from Windows 7) can be activated by digital entitlement after Windows 10 free upgrade offer ends?

I want to know if the Windows 10 can be installed and activated on PC on which Windows 10 was once activated by digital entitlement, after upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 7, even after the Windows 10 free upgrade offer ends. Actually I want to change HDD of my desktop PC but that will be available to me after Windows 10 free upgrade offer ends. I am worried if I will be able to successfully activate Windows 10 with digital entitlement on new HDD after Windows 10 free upgrade offer ends.
