Excel for scheduling

I have an excel workbook calendar with 4 different worksheets for scheduling my staff. One sheet for each position. Some staff members have multiple positions. If I schedule someone for one position is there a way to show that in the other worksheets so they are not scheduled for two positions on the same day?
