Logged in with a temporary profile

After creating a new user account in active directory, I gave the account permission to use the computer, and then I tired logging in. I was able to log in, but a message displayed upon start up, telling me I logged in with a temp profile. Was this possibly an error I made? This account was created like all the rest in my building.
