I have a laptop with a broken screen that has great specs. I want to keep it on 24-7 to run as a server for various things. I notice that I can login to ssh on reboot with no problems. However I also need gui access to the machine. I cannot use the remote desktop without physically logging into the machine though, and it’s a royal pain trying to keep it connected to a different monitor or screen so as to be able to login. Like I said, I can login to ssh on reboot effortlessly… so how do I configure Gnome Desktop Sharing to run on boot without needing to login?
