Live streaming from an IP Camera to YouTube

Here is what I have:

• An IP camera on local network that already has its own RTMP stream available on port 1935
• Registered and verified YouTube account, ready for streaming
• Headless Debian Wheezy server that can perform any needed intermediary tasks

As far as I understand YouTube can not connect to my RTMP stream(i.e. if I provide my URL over dyndns hostname) instead I need to stream/upload to the provided YouTube RTMP stream URL + stream name.

So what is the simplest possible method to do that from my Debian server? By simplest I mean the most basic software(preferably something from official Debian repos) and configuration needed. Can VLC do it? How could I perform it from the console(I can run GUI through Xvfb if absolutely necessary). Any other suggestions beside VLC are also welcome.
