my input indicator is gone in Windows 10 for an unknown reason, Please consider reading these facts before answering:
-
I don't want to use CTFMON.EXE as it is not the same one, and this does not respond to (Windows + Space) command to change input language, only responds to (Alt+Shift), which is really annoying.
-
I tued its icon in Windows setting after I found it was off (Input Indicator set to ON), but it just appear as "blank: rectangle next to the clock in taskbar, and it is not click-able.
-
I am sure I have two language installed as input for the keyboard, and all the related setting is accurate (Googled this too much).
-
I know this probably caused by a recent Windows Update, but I don't have a restore point created to restore or roll-back updates.
So, I was wondering, what is the (*.exe) application that is responsible for starting the input indicator service? (which is equivalent to CTFMON.EXE for Windows XP and Windows 7).
Thanks!
