Azure VPN discoects when switching users

I've got an Azure point-to-site VPN coection ruing on my local machine, under my main user account. However, as soon as I switch to a secondary user on that same machine, that VPN coection discoects - which is problematic, as I need it for some background processes ruing on my secondary login.

Any suggestions for working around this, i.e., allowing all logins on the same machine to share the same Azure point-to-site VPN tuel?
