Azure VPN disconnects when switching users

I've got an Azure point-to-site VPN connection running on my local machine, under my main user account. However, as soon as I switch to a secondary user on that same machine, that VPN connection disconnects - which is problematic, as I need it for some background processes running on my secondary login.

Any suggestions for working around this, i.e., allowing all logins on the same machine to share the same Azure point-to-site VPN tunnel?
