why spool files are not getting stored in my windows 7 machine?

I have a network shared printer connected to the linux machine. When i sent the print request from the windows machine the spool files are not getting stored in the sytem32/spool/printers directory.I also try to mark "keep printed documents " in the printer properties but when i apply the settings it automatically changes to the previous default settings.
