Selected window will not come to foreground in Windows 10

I have the same problem that was outlined in your topic - Program windows won't come to foreground when selected in Windows 8.1 However, I have WIndows 10 which came installed on my computer. It was not upgraded from Windows 8.1. I don't use Synergy. I don't even know what it is.
