I bought a cable to coect my pc to my now fairly old 50 inch Sony Bravia TV.

I picked a cheap one as the distance is only about 3 metres:

I'm finding though that when coected to my PC/TV the signal flickers to the point of being completely unusable. It works fine when coecting to my Xbox One to my PC however.

An identical cable worked fine for the same purpose with my my 32 inch Sony Bravia before I managed to break it - is the increased TV size meaning I need to invest in a better cable or is something else at play?

If it's the cable, what do I need to look out for when purchasing in future?
