Display window remotely

What i need is a stealth way to run a GUI application on a host computer, but have it display on another computer, like in Display Windows application via SSH X11 on Linux. It does not have to be strictly X11, it just needs to work. What i don't want is a full RDP program, just something that will forward a remote program to my display. Also, I want it to support reverse proxy so that my computer can be port forwarded but the one running the program doesn't have to. Is there any program like this? Someone suggested that I simulate another desktop on the other machine and access that, but i have no clue how to do that.
