Can MobaXTerm set environment variables on SSH connection?

It is possible for the OpenSSH command to set variables for a connection (e.g. http://superuser.com/a/163228/7173).

Is it possible for MobaXTerm to do the same? The commands I run to setup my profile on login are to be slightly different if I'm running them in Moba or in a regular SSH session, and using an environment variable would allow me do to so while providing the most flexibility.
