I undestand basics of IPv4 and subneting but I could not find a definite answer of what some of these entries in my routing table mean:
netstat -nr
Destination Gateway Flags Refs Use Netif Expire
0/1 10.0.0.1 UGSc 16 0 en0
default 10.0.3.149 UGSc 0 0 utun0
10/24 link#4 UCS 5 0 en0
10/20 10.0.3.149 UGSc 1 0 utun0
128.0/1 10.0.0.1 UGSc 29 0 en0
I understand the default entry. Is 0/1 also default routing? What does 10/24 mean, same as 10.0.0.0/24? I know 10 would be equivalent to 10.0.0.0/8 (ie 255.0.0.0 netmask). 128.0/1 : that is another mysterious one. Thank you!
