Prevent Excel 2016 from jumping to summary sheet when data is changed on source sheet

I have two sheets in an Excel 2016 workbook. The first sheet is where data is entered and calculations take place using that data. The second sheet is where the finished data is kept as a summary report. The second sheet has some links from the first sheet's calculations as well links from static information from the first sheet. My question is: whenever I enter new data into a cell on the first sheet Excel "jumps" to the second sheet into the cell that contains the updated number which uses the new data. How can I stop this behavior? "Jumping" to the second sheet is unnecessary and makes data entry into the first sheet very difficult. Thank you for any help.
