virt-manager + kvm mouse movement on windows 10 guest

I installed a Windows 10 OS on a virtual machine created using virt-manager on Ubuntu 16.04 desktop host. I installed the relevant guest drivers, including all virtio drivers and spice guest tools. Everything works OK, including the display driver and mouse integration, except for very sluggish mouse movement.

When I move the mouse, it seems like an old movie with a very low FPS count. Is there any way to resolve this problem?
