How can I restart gpg-agent?

I'm sorry if it is too basic, but I can't find anything relevant in the documentation. Some changes in GPG config demands a gpg-agent restart / reboot, but... How can I do that? I tried gpg-agent restart, service gpg-agent restart and nothing.
