Latest live/installable distro with XGL Compiz Fusion support

I was about to setup a demo machine with XGL like back in 2007 but I found that for some reason they either dropped xgl/compiz support from Korora or it is disabled:

After doing some research on the net it seems to me that this whole xgl/compiz project died and was dropped from all linux distros. Is this right? Anybody knows an up to date distro where this still works out of the box with Intel/Ati/Nvidia cards?
