I have a pfsense router, an ubiquiti uap lite and a tplink sg105e switch.
Well on my AP, I have 2 wifi networks. Home and guest. I set guest to have a VID of 30.
Then I went onto the switch. I made a VLAN with a VID of 30, and I tagged ports 2 and 4 because port 2 is my AP and port 4 is the cable from the switch to the router.
Then I went onto pfsense. I made a vlan with a vid of 30, I enabled the vlan, I assigned the VLAN a static IP of 10.12.2.1 and I enabled the dhcp server for that VLAN interface. Now when I try to connect to my guest wifi, I don't get assigned an IP address. So I'm guessing the VLAN isnt working.
