Coect two VirtualBox VMs directly

Is it possible to coect two VirtualBox virtual machines like if they were coected to each other by a network cable? i.e. no switch or any other machine between them, just a network cable with one of its terminals plugged in one VM's network adapter and the other of its terminals plugged in the other VM's network adapter.

I downloaded MikroTik RouterOS and installed it on a new VM. I set it up with 8 network adapters and want to directly coect other VMs to it, so I could emulate some computers communicating among themselves through a switch or router.
