Which is fastest? PC hardware keyboard our Android swype keyboard?

I would like to know whether the Android swype keyboard can achieve faster input rates than a PC keyboard. I've been using it for just a few days now and it seems like the answer is in the affirmative. How do average and maximum input speeds on both keyboard types compare? If my observation is correct, then is it possible to coect an Android phone or swype keyboard device to a PC to achieve the same level of dexterity and speed? Thanks.
