I'm trying to retrieve a file from the PCLaw software on our hard drive circa 2003/4 on XP microsoft

I am looking for advice to retrieve files under the PCLAw software created on XP microsoft. The company(Lexis Nexis) no longer supports the software. I am currently desperate for any or all advice.
