Concerning the hardware

Recently I purchased components to build a desktop pc. Among these components I bought an all in one liquid cooler for the cpu. Due to the instructions for the cooler setup being inconclusive when I fitted the water pump mounting bracket to the motherboard I inadvertently damaged the motherboard causing it to short out. This in tu has damaged the cpu probably beyond repair. Obviously I had installed the ram as well as an M.2 ssd drive before attempting to fire up the new build. My question is what else if anything could this short have damaged?
