Windows 8.1 - resolving host [dns]

I've moved to a new location yesterday, but i caot reach any sites because it hangs in chrome on "resolving host".

I've thought this was a router issue, but after putting my laptop on the same lan cable i knew it was something with my computer, this is because on the laptop it works just fine.

I've tried a nslookup which results in:

Non-authoritative answer:
DNS request timed out.
    timeout was 2 seconds.
Name:    hoeijmakers.me
Address:  188.166.81.48

Which is a site that is in my cache, For sites like superuser.com it will just show

DNS request timed out.
    timeout was 2 seconds. [x3/x4]
*** Request to google-public-dns-a.google.com timed-out

Now one extra thing is, when i coect to my vpn the inteet will work just fine...

What can this mean?
