MLVPN over PPPOE's over VLAN's

I'm trying to achieve aggrigation between two (or more) ADSL lines. Unfortunately I have a situation where both lines are coected to the same concentrator.

I have a router/firewall on local network address 192.168.1.1. (ruing linux) This is coected to a switch. As are both modems. I have set up two vlans (.2 and .3) (I have given these ip addresses 192.168.2.1 and 192.168.3.1 all /24)

The modems are both netgears ruing modfs. They have bridges the bridge between the various network ports and wireless coections. This is br0.

I have added a vlan on this bridge, (e.g. br0.2 and br0.3)

I have then created another bridge, that bridges between this vlan, and the WAN port (atm0). (br1) (I have given the br1's an ip address of 192.168.2.2 and 192.168.3.3, again all /24).

When I take a single pppoe up, either one works perfectly. When I take both pppoe's up, I get massive packet drop (80%), and basically the whole thing fails.

What could I have done wrong?
